To promote practical learning and student involvement in emerging healthcare technologies, CDHPM provided a one-year paid internship opportunity to two B.Tech (Computer Science) students from The Apollo University, Mr. SP Jithin and Mr. Syed Khashed. Conducted from March 2025 to March 2026 with a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, the internship offered hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence, digital health systems, and healthcare-oriented research projects.

Throughout the program, the interns collaborated with faculty members and researchers on various research and development activities at CDHPM. Their work involved supporting data management, software development tasks, and AI-based healthcare applications aimed at advancing digital healthcare and precision medicine initiatives. The internship provided valuable industry-oriented experience, strengthening their technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of healthcare-driven technological innovation.

As part of their academic training, Ms. Tanya and Ms. Mahalakshmi, first-year M.Sc. Bioinformatics students from Pondicherry University, successfully completed a two-month summer internship programme at CDHPM from March to May 2025. The internship provided practical exposure to interdisciplinary areas such as bioinformatics, biomedical data analysis, and computational applications in healthcare research.

Working alongside faculty mentors and research teams, the students participated in activities including data analysis, literature review, and bioinformatics-based research workflows. The programme enabled them to gain hands-on research experience while enhancing their analytical abilities, technical knowledge, and understanding of computational approaches in modern healthcare and life sciences.

As part of its commitment to experiential learning and research exposure, CDHPM offered summer internship opportunities to four B.Tech (Computer Science) students from The Apollo University, Ms. Shreya, Ms. Manasa, Mr. Thilak, and Mr. Yugavardhan, from May to June 2026. The internship introduced the students to practical applications of computer science in healthcare and biomedical research environments.

By engaging with faculty members and research teams, the students gained exposure to projects involving artificial intelligence, healthcare data systems, and digital health technologies. The programme provided valuable hands-on experience in research and innovation while strengthening their technical expertise, teamwork, and understanding of healthcare-centred technology development.
